Six kinds of faults and solutions in the printing process of uv flatbed printer
1. Printed pictures have horizontal lines
a. The cause of the failure: the nozzle is in poor condition. Solution: the nozzle is blocked or oblique spray, just clean the nozzle;
b. The cause of the failure: the step value is not adjusted. Solution: In the printing software settings, the machine is set to open the maintenance mark to correct the step.
2. Large color deviation
a. The reason for the failure: the picture format is wrong. Solution: Set the picture mode to CMYK mode and change the picture to TIFF;
b. The cause of the failure: the nozzle is blocked. Solution: Print a test strip and clean the nozzle if it is blocked;
c. The cause of the failure: the software setting is wrong. Solution: reset the software parameters according to the standard.
a. The reason for failure: low picture pixel. Solution: Picture DPI300 or above, especially for printing 4PT small fonts, need to increase DPI to 1200;
b. The reason for failure: The distance between the print head and the printed matter is too far. Solution: Keep the printed matter close to the print nozzle and keep a distance of about 2 mm;
a. The reason for failure: ink precipitation or broken ink. Solution: Check the status of the nozzle, whether the ink fluency is deteriorated, and check whether the ink path is leaking;
b. The cause of the failure: the material or machine is static. Solution: Ground the machine shell, wipe the surface of the material with alcohol to eliminate static electricity.（TODOjet UV printer electrostatic stick can remove static electricity）
5. There is ghosting in the horizontal printing
a. The reason for failure: The encoder strip is dirty. Solution: clean the encoder strip;
b. The cause of the failure: the encoder is damaged. Solution: Replace with a new encoder;
c. The cause of the failure: poor contact or failure of the square fiber cable. Solution: Replace the square head fiber cable.
6. Printing dripping or broken ink
Dropping ink: A certain nozzle drops ink during printing.
Solution: a. Check whether the negative pressure is too low; b. Check whether there is air leakage in the ink circuit.
Ink breakage: A certain color often breaks ink during printing.
Solution: a. Check whether the negative pressure is too high; b. Check whether the ink path is leaking; c. Whether the nozzle has not been cleaned for a long time, if so, clean the nozzle.
