Introduction to Pigment Ink
Pigment ink is primarily made of water as a solvent, processed scientifically to offer numerous benefits over traditional printing inks. Here’s why pigment ink stands out:

Health and Safety: Unlike other printing inks, water-based pigment ink does not contain volatile toxic organic solvents, ensuring it does not pose health risks to printing machine operators during the printing process.
Environmental Impact: The absence of volatile organic compounds means it does not contribute to atmospheric pollution, making it an eco-friendly option.
Print Quality: Pigment ink ensures that the printed materials remain uncontaminated and maintain high print quality.

In DTF printing:

Special pigment ink is applied to PET film.
A powdered glue is then applied to the back and heat cured for immediate or storage-ready use.
This method offers versatility across non-cotton materials and avoids the complexities of pre-treatment or plate-making required in traditional methods. DTF printers are often paired with powder dryer machines to enhance the printing process.
