China’s UV printer industry has been developing for more than ten years, and it has basically reached a bottleneck in terms of flat-panel printing technology at this stage. Throughout these years, the evolution of nozzles has become a main line. Most UV printer manufacturers have started to change Epson nozzles, Seiko nozzles, Konica nozzles to Ricoh nozzles, Toshiba nozzles, Kyocera nozzles, and starlight nozzles. It is also based on the replacement of nozzles in Japan. The core point of the market is the cost-effectiveness of the print head, that is a better balance between speed, accuracy, life, and price.
However, this model that depends on the nozzle manufacturer to upgrade the nozzle and upgrade the existing UV printer is very comfortable. It only needs to develop the motherboard program, and the investment is very small, similar to boiling frogs in warm water, but there are disadvantages.
Fortunately, in the past 2 years, some UV printer manufacturers have been trying new ways, such as:
1. Some pursue production efficiency, take the onepass route, increase the number of print heads to increase printing capacity;
2.Some UV printer manufacturers in the cylinder industry have developed custom UV printers for wine bottles and thermos cups to broaden the application of this industry;
3. In some cases, try the vertical UV printing pattern in the container field, so as to customize the printing pattern text on the surface of the container of the ocean freight.
4, some try the cone or irregular uv printing, similar to flat water cups around, water cups with handles and so on.
5. Some combine indepth secondary development with equipment from other industries, similar to grafting robotic arms, automatic loading and unloading, combined with conveyor belts, light-solid machine assembly line automatic mode.
In addition, some manufacturers are also testing and optimizing UV printers for Toshiba cj1 printheads, Ricoh g6 printheads, etc. I believe they can be seen at the exhibition in March next year, and I believe that the UV printer industry will develop better in 2022.
